The Chinatown shops, as one would expect, are jam packed with silly, odd and occasionally useful items.

This map details Victoria's Chinatown as it was in the late 1800's when many Chinese railroad workers lived here.

A small monument atones for Canada's ill treatment of the Chinese people. Peter hopes that the U.S. has such monuments.

This is Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest street in Victoria. Deeper into the alley, you'll see many brightly decorated shops.

Not far from Chinatown, Peter and Julie come across a neighborhood featuring many handsome old buildings.

Victoria is the capital of British Columbia and this is the Parliament Building.
