LP sorting is complete. Some real gems, a number of them "pre-marital assets," are missing. Fuck it, replacements are cheaper than legal fees and I'm tired of fighting.

The same is true for CDs; missing stuff is not worth fighting over. In truth, I no longer care much about the CDs. Nowadays, streaming is my preferred digital listening method.

I am beyond grateful to have landed at Emerson with Aaron. Where else could I tackle a project like this with a supportive housemate?

The sorting and testing became fun once the gear was running. Listening so far, as evidenced by the discs lying out: Slavik Soul Party and Asian Dub Foundation. Yeah!

A curious visual: A sconce above the fireplace illuminates a stack of CDs in a strangely beautiful way.

The LPs are in order, boxed, and on the way to the basement...

...same for the CDs, in the white boxes, and some books and sundries in the brown box.

The LPs come to rest in the basement, stacked on a heavy-duty caster cart. On top of the LPs, a giant collection of dad's cassettes completes a movable wall of music.

A tarp makes the whole music stash less of an eyesore. Across from the LPs and cassettes, the CDs are stored in a similar way.

The bikes return to their hanging position once the music storage is complete. Final touches will come to make this area appear a bit less cluttered.

Moving objects to Emerson from the first, large, locker allowed me to shift storage to a smaller locker (4333). Soon objects from this locker will move to Kronenwetter, WI.

And here is Kronenwetter. Brother Charlie and sister-in-law Patti graciously offered a portion of their basement for storage. The old cottage table bookends the pile of stuff.
