I left Lyndale with a suitcase full of clothes, a couple of crates full of paper work, my computer and a single pair of speakers. For a short time this was my Emerson office.

Christmas decorating was always a big deal in the Lyndale home. In 2018, that gave way to a Hanukka celebration and the lighting of the Menorah with Aaron.

Happy Hanukka!

Here's a very early version of the parlor. I've stashed Aaron's books under the card-table/desk. I've made shelves by covering other stacks of books with towels and boards.

Milk crates became my dresser, and a suitcase my closet. The room is lovely, but the loss of the magnificent Lyndale spaces was hard for me to accept.

In the early days, the parlor contained many of Aaron's objects. Overtime, he and I found other spaces for his things and I began my nesting.

I co-opted cabinets that Aaorn temporily possessed as part of his work on the Victoria Theater restoration project. I wedged in a table, rescued from the curb-side.

After a Lyndale recovery mission in January 2019, I began to integrate more of my belongings into the Emerson parlor. Recovered family photos contribute heart to my nest.

Victoria Theater cabinets and Lyndale cabinets serve a purpose but I'm not satisfied with the cluttered look.

On the subject of clutter, the Emerson basement needed a little love...

...and I'm just the man for the job.

My bringing order to the basement was very well received by Aaron. Selfishly, I'm thinking that this is the first stage of expoiting the basement for my own storage.
