How bad was it on Lyndale Avenue? Super bad! Here is a hammer-smashed wall, covered with hateful graffiti. This shows just some of Escher's damage, anger and madness.

One night Escher jammed a camera in my face. This is the result. My pathetic, old, fat body is covered in bruises from Escher's attacks.

Of course I chronicled this violence. Here Escher screams at me and tries to prevent me from capturing the horror.

I dodge blows and continue to photograph the moment. This is unvarnished domestic violence. Sometimes men are the abused and I'm living proof of this.
