Sep. 18, 2020 • My weekend with brother Charlie begins with a dose of beauty; a bright, bracing fall day and a gorgeous misty river.

The siblings have amassed an impressive collection of fridge magnets. Here's my favorite.

Earlier this summer, brother Charlie blew a tire on his trailor. Out of desparation, he drove miles on the rim which fared better than I would have imagined.

On this trip, a truly manly trailor was required to haul a clothesline pole. The old pole was destroyed in last year's sorm.

So far, the weekend chores are going very well. Charlie is doing all the work while I take pictures and drink coffee.

My brother is pretty dang clever. He built this wood shed years ago and it stood up to a heavy tree felled by last year's storm. The ATV garage was built just before the storm.
