The lead singer of SlipKnot's "tame" other band Stone Sour – tame yeah haha. Saw them live when I never heard of them at First Avenue and they blew me away. Corey Taylor nailed every note of every song, very professional band and highly talented musicians. They did a Prince tribute for the Minneapolis fans that was spot on amazing. This song resonates with me because we've all felt like a zero at times of our lives, the line "I'm not the devil, but I won't be your hero" resonates with me.
 
Robert Cray and Eric Clapton
Old Love
I saw Robert Cray open up for Eric Clapton in the 90's at Target Center, They played this song together as they transitioned. Phil Collins actually played the drums for Clapton at the show, had no idea what a good drummer he was, it was an unbelievable show that sadly I didn't' appreciate at the time, you know college :-]

A bit more mainstream but this song always cheers me up, and I can't help singing along especially in my car. Lots of remakes, Uncle Kracker did a good one recently, but you can't beat the original Dobie Gray with his soulful voice.
