#1 • packed, schlepped out of the house, and ready to begin the inagural test ride

#2 • first pitstop, the Hopkins Depot - about ten miles into the run - about to enjoy a breakfast of espresso, gatorade and a chocolate bar... mmm good eatin!

#3 • fully charged on espresso and pausing for stop number two, on the stone arch bridge over the mississippi, looking towards northeast minneapolis

#4 • another view from the stone arch, now looking to the south - about twenty miles into the ride

#5 • at roughly twenty five miles, crossing the mississippi again on another bridge with downtown minneapolis in the background

#6 • now with about forty miles under the belt, a pause for a view of st. paul's high bridge over the mississippi

#7 • on harriet island in st. paul looking towards downtown

#8 • on the back side of fort snelling, about to heat up the brakes on a big descent

#9 • hoping for the money shot at the minihaha falls but foiled by a mom and chubby-legged youngster

#10 • 52 miles in and finally locking up for a beer at sea salt - six miles from home, this is last stop on the 58 mile run - shirly hauled the load beautifully!
